Competitions
Yarm Squash Club
holds the following competitions:-
- Ladder Leagues - There are five people
in each league- at the end of each month 2 are promoted and 2 are relegated. Further
league details are available from Gary Lockwood - g.lockwood1@ntlworld.com
- Christmas Tournament - Entrants
are divided into teams of seven (4 men, 1 lady and 2 juniors) and all matches
are handicapped. The Christmas tournament is always very popular with the emphasis
being on fun - 2009 Christmas Tournament dates are on the Notice Board at the Club
- Handicap Tournament
- This competition is an individual knockout competition that is held just before
the start of the season.
- Doubles
Tournament - This is one of the most popular events we hold. This summer
event has one big league, and the teams that play the most matches and have the
best records go forward to the Semi Finals.
- Summer
League - This is one big league made up of everyone that enters and is
handicapped. It is a good way to keep your eye in over the Summer.
- Team
Squash - The club runs 5 Mens teams in the Durham & Cleveland leagues.
